Der zweite Tag unserer „International Conference“ war geprägt von Vorträgen.
Zunächst stellte Mikko Laine – WSOY eLearning uns ein Produkt vor, welches sein Unternehmen an finnische Schulen verkauft.
Als nächstes hat Kari Mikkela vom Center of Expertise for Digital Media Finland aus seiner Berufspraxis berichtet.
„Unser Unternehmen ist sehr am Wohlbefinden seiner Mitarbeiter interessiert“ berichtet Eero Miettinen Chef Designer bei Nokia.
Im Anschluss präsentierte Lily Diaz vom Media Lab der UIAH noch ihr Projekt Cipher. Aus meiner Sicht war das zwar alles ganz interessant, allerdings hat mich das in Bezug auf dieses Studium wenig vorwärts gemacht.
Morgen soll es besser werden. Mal schauen.
Der Abend würde durch einen Saunabesuch und Abendessen mit Christina und :alex: deutlich aufgewertet. Thanks for that.
The second day of our „International Conference“ faced primary Presentations.
At first Mikko Laine of WSOYintroduced a product to us which his company offers to finnish schools.
Next was Kari Mikkela of Center of Expertise for Digital Media Finland with a report of his work.
Nokia’s Chief Designer told us about the focus on employee’s well being in his company.
Last one was Lily Diaz of Media Lab at UIAH who explained her project Cipher.
My conclusion of this day is that all of it was interesting in a specific way, but it was no real benefit for my studies.
It was promised that the program will change and improve on the third day.
In the evening Christina, :alex: and me went to the sauna before having some food in our flat together. That was the highlite of the day. Thanks for that.
